Customer Service Can Never Be Overstated

Today, a hairdresser came to the house to give me a trim. It was the sort of thing that made you feel human again. Above all, however, I was so impressed with her industriousness and ambition.
I went to go buy something today; something in high demand. I knew it was going to be a process but even with that assumption, I was surprised.
They are doing everything they can to stay open. At first, when it was just suggested social distancing, they made us stand in lines six feet apart. Now, in an effort to serve their customers and fight the trend of closures, they came up with a new solution of scheduled pick up times.
I was so impressed with their efforts. With each new hurdle, they found a way to overcome it. I spoke to some of the staff there – and actually asked if they were hiring, I mean, hey, they’re busy, right? – and they stated overwhelmingly that they hoped management would keep finding a way to defer to the new regulations while staying open and providing a service.
Take Advantage!

It’s another good reminder that especially in this time of crisis and upheaval we all have an opportunity to make a terrific impression or a terrible one. This is a chance to truly stand out and earn those hard-earned loyalty points. Take advantage!
